Risk and Anti-Risk are die-based minigames. A random whole number from 1 to 20 is randomly chosen, and
credits are awarded or deducted based on the number.
You may use the command
!risk multiplier number to play Risk and the command
!antirisk multiplier number to play Anti-Risk.
For Risk, if any number but 1 is chosen, the player earns that number of credits. If 1 is chosen, the player loses 209 credits. For Anti-Risk, if any number but 20 is chosen, the player loses that number of credits. If 20 is chosen, the player earns 190 credits.
The
multiplier parameter increases all gains and losses by multiplying them. The
number parameter determines how many times Risk or Anti-Risk is played in a single command. You can play up to 20 Risks or Anti-Risks at once.
If you do not have at least \(209\cdot\text{multiplier}\) credits, you cannot play Risk. If you do not have at least \(19\cdot\text{multiplier}\) credits, you cannot play Anti-Risk. Each player has a limited number of Risks and Anti-Risks possible each
Bot Cycle. This starts at 40 rolls, and increases by 40 for every
Ephemera Level the player has.
In the long run, a player should not expect to gain or lose any credits from playing either Risk or Anti-Risk. This is because the expected value is 0, shown by:
However, players are still able to gain or lose credits in the short run.
There is one
Invocation that can affect Risk and Anti-Risk.
Succumb
Succumb is used to reduce a user's Risk and Anti-Risk counters. The command
!succumb user consumes 1
Ephemera to reduce the target's current counters by 80 each. The reduction cannot reduce a counter below 0.
Succumb will misfire if the target already has Risk and Anti-Risk counters of 0.
